Started in 2015. Founder's Connor Ward and Kal Smith decided to leave their jobs and invest in their first hotel. They bought the Altona Hotel, located in a small town 120km's south of their home city Winnipeg, MB. The hotel was run down but had a ton of potential. After many grueling hours and community support they were able to turn the hotel around and into a clean, comfortable community staple. The two started slow, working on each individual department or business and fine tuning the details with a major focus on customer service.

In 2019 the two then set out and purchased their second hotel, The Howard Johnson Winnipeg, located in Winnipeg, MB. Following a similar formula and systems fine tuned from their first venture they were able to replecate and make some more improvements further improving the offering to a bigger market. Today Kal and Connor operate the two succesful hotels and many other sub-businesses and have no plans on taking their foot off the gas. They believe in offering a safe comfortable atmosphere for all guests with the best customer service in the world at the core of their operational beliefs.
